When I tasted it in the cellar, I mentioned our name — Eloquent Wines — and the woman smiled. In France, she said, they have a competition called “l’éloquence,” where children gather in Paris to speak, debate, read poetry. 

An unexpected white 50/50 blend from Northern Rhône with Roussanne and Marsanne — peaches, honey, weight without heaviness. No mountain freshness here, just wild hills and Rhône warmth. They make only 6,000 bottles.

The winemaker named it after a Sunday in Lima — the last day of a long trip before he moved to France. That memory became his first bottle. His own beginning.
