For those who appreciate wines with the strength and depth of a Hemingway novel, this selection is a tribute to character, intensity, and the joy found in life's complexities. Each bottle tells a story, inviting you to savor moments of reflection and indulgence.
The journey begins with white wine from Rousanne grape called 'Chignin-Bergeron' from the Ravier family in Savoie region of France. This wine is a tribute to the family tradition, when almond tree is planted whenever there is due to its high altitude a newborn. It has a peppery, white-fruited intensity. We also included
Roussette de Savoie "Battenbourg", an elegant white wine from Altesse grape. If you've never heard of this grape, it's because it almost never leaves Savoie region (which is about 70 km from Switzerland border). Next, the red wine from Mondeuse grape surprises with its velvet nose and bold character, a rare find that challenges expectations. And even we normally do not like Syrah grape, this one even sommeliers do not realize as it's so elegant: wine producer Julien Pilon in Crozes-Hermitage appellation offers northern French refinement for us. From a biodynamic estate in the Southern Rhône Valley — Domaine La Ferme Saint Martin, which we are the first to import into Spain - presents a red wine from 107 year old vines. Concluding the set is the Masso Lizzone Rosso from Lake Garda, Italy, which our founder Valeria was drinking whilst spending her 1 month in exile there, reflecting on the end of her life in Germany & career she gave up to start Eloquent wines.
This collection embodies the spirit of Hemingway—it's intense, thoughtful, and unapologetically bold.
Each set comes with a printed leaflet that shares the story behind every wine.
