As Ray Bradbury beautifully puts it, "I'm alive, thinking about it, noticing it, is new. You do things and don't watch. Then all of a sudden you look and see what you're doing, and it's the first time really." This collection is a celebration of that feeling — when the simple things become profound.
We begin with Lore Chardonnay from the Trentino region of Italy — an untypical white wine that effortlessly pairs with any food, bringing a fresh, versatile energy to your glass. We found it in a local cantina when spending a month there, trying to find wines that are not from Dolomites yet, but close enough. Les terres jaunes is a dynamically rich red wine that invites you to feel alive in the summer air, with its lively and approachable character from Beaumes-de-Venise appellation, using a Counoise grape (it’s also the first time we’ve heard of this grape). Then we have Dahu, a surprising red blend of Syrah and Tannat, challenges expectations with its unique, collaborative creation and bursts
with the medieval village charm of the Condrieu region in France. We learned about this wine from a local couple during our stay there. White wine from Rousanne grape — richer and oak-aged, this wine offers a creamy, textured experience, grounded in tradition of a local family that started this winery in 1980s. We also travel
a two-hour drive from Barcelona - to up-and-coming region of Languedoc, where the king of Mallorca had his castle in Perpignan in 14th century. On that trip we found an American working at Domaine Rombeau and our next wine: the Alchemia collection white, that includes a Malvazija grape, held elegantly in oak barrels for 3 years. Finally, the Dimanche à Lima, a 50-50 Marsanne-Roussanne white wine blend from Northern Rhône, crafted after the winemaker’s year-long world journey around the world — this is a wine that embodies adventure and surprise.
We offer you a surprising mix of flavors and emotions — floral, spicy, oaky, red, and intense — because we believe there’s something for everyone to feel alive, to notice, and to savor.
Each set comes with a printed leaflet that shares the story behind every wine.
