Carlina is a white wine from 2023 that comes from the elevated slopes of Suzette in the Southern Rhône, a rare high-altitude pocket at around 400 meters where cooler temperatures, wind exposure, and slow ripening fundamentally reshape the style of Rhône whites. The vineyards sit on Triassic-period soils — ancient limestone, marl, and fragmented mineral layers that give the wine its signature tension, salinity, and vertical structure.

The blend is 30% Roussanne, 40% Clairette, 10% Grenache Blanc, and 20% other local varieties, creating a profile that is layered rather than obvious.
