Les Terres Jaunes is a no tannin, strawberry biodynamic red of the only elevation in Southern Rhône (400m). It's a wine built around forgotten regional grapes, killed by phylloxera in 20th century, such as Counoise and Terret Noir, grapes once common in the region but now rarely seen outside of historic vineyards. Rather than power or extraction, the focus here is on delicacy, freshness, and an interestingly brave take on Rhône oaked reds, 85% of which are Syrah-only.

The result is incredibly drinkable: soft, lifted, and full of bright wild strawberry notes with a gentle spice underneath. There’s an almost alpine feeling to the wine despite its Southern origins, likely coming from the estate’s elevated vineyards in Suzette. It’s the kind of bottle that changes people’s perception of Rhône reds entirely — less heavy Mediterranean sun, more finesse and energy.
